Good to know
Which level should my child take?
The level that matches their school grade: Grade 4 is 8th Kyu, Grade 9 is 3rd Kyu. Strong students can try one level higher. Every level also tests the grade below, so each handbook also covers those skills.
What language are the books in?
English, in short, plain sentences. The five step names of the Ch5 method are Khmer: ចូល ចង ចាំ ចេញ ចេះ. For 3rd Kyu, the Feynman Learn app has the lessons, mock tests and drills in English and Khmer, and one tap switches between them.
Is there an app?
Yes. Feynman Learn (feynmanlearn.com) has the 3rd Kyu lessons, mock tests and drills: all 15 lessons, 20 mock tests and 12 speed drills, in English and Khmer. Anyone can try it without an account. Students in a coached class get their own sign-in, so their progress is saved on any phone, and their parents get a weekly report on Telegram. The other levels will follow.
Can my child study without a coach?
Yes. Every lesson explains each step with pictures, and every answer is in the book. Students go further and faster with a certified Suken coach.
How long does one level take?
Each handbook has a 12-week study plan that mixes lessons, Reviews, check papers and mock tests.
What are the medals?
First a student passes the test. Then the total score gives Bronze (85%), Silver (90%) or Gold (95%). Every book trains for Gold, not only for a pass.
Are the questions copied from real tests?
No. All questions are written by Feynman Academics and the Cambodian Mathematical Society. They follow the question types and order of the official papers, so students know the test before they sit it.
